I have a passion for living things – people, plants and animals and our cycles and patterns together.  Naturally this leads me to be concerned with sustainability, permaculture and integral efforts to shift my decisions and actions.  My finest expressions of this to date are my relationship with the woman whose husband I am – Zoe (married since 1995) and our love for our daughter.  Second only to these is the relationship I have with a company I cofounded in 2001 called SweetRush and the amazing people who have come on board to help us build a culture of respect, love, professionalism and service to our client base.  We see our way of prioritizing people over profit as a true path to sustainability and productivity.  I also love to blog (still in the process of uploading several years of blogs here) and to garden and work with wood.  Most of all I love working with people and building a community that makes all of this possible.  The finest moments of my life have always been the soft orange glow of close company around good food and conversation.
